One Shared Message Could Help Someone

’m Bruce Goldwell. I’m a Vietnam veteran and an author.

I don’t usually make videos asking people to follow me, because gaining followers has never really been my goal.

I write books because I believe information, ideas, stories, and encouragement can make a difference in someone’s life.

Some of my books are written to entertain. Others are written to inform. And some are written because I see a problem that people are dealing with and think, “Maybe I can create something that will help.”

That is what I try to do.

Inform. Entertain. Encourage. Help people make better decisions.

Sometimes Sharing Is Just as Important as Creating

There is something else I’ve learned.

I can write a book. I can create a website. I can make a video.

But none of those things can help someone who never sees them.

That’s where you can make a difference.

Every time you share something useful, you give that message another opportunity to reach someone who may need it.

Maybe it’s someone you know.

Maybe it’s someone you’ve never met.

Maybe your share gets passed along again and eventually reaches exactly the right person at exactly the right time.

That’s pretty powerful when you think about it.

My Newest Book Has a Very Specific Mission

My newest book is The Smart Senior Scam Defense Guide: How to Spot the Trick Before You Click, Pay, or Answer.

I wrote it for a simple reason:

I want to help seniors recognize a scam before they lose their money.

I know how convincing scammers can be because I was scammed myself.

The experience taught me something important. We don’t need to memorize every scam that exists. There will always be a new story, a new trick, a new message, or a new technology.

What we need is a defense we can remember when something doesn’t feel right.

That became the heart of the book:

STOP. CHECK. VERIFY.

STOP before you click, pay, transfer money, give someone a code, or provide personal information.

CHECK what is happening. Who contacted whom? What do they want? Are they creating fear, urgency, excitement, authority, or secrecy?

VERIFY independently. End their contact and start your own using a phone number, website, app, family member, bank, company, or organization you already trust.

One simple habit could prevent a very expensive mistake.

Help Me Help Seniors

This is where I’m asking for your help.

Not simply to help me sell a book.

Help me get this message in front of seniors.

You may have no idea who your share eventually reaches.

It could reach someone’s mother or father.

A veteran.

STOP. CHECK. VERIFY.

One Share Can Make a Difference

We hear a lot about everything that’s wrong with the world.

But each of us also has opportunities to make a little piece of it better.

Sometimes it doesn’t require money.

Sometimes it doesn’t require a huge commitment.

Sometimes it can be as simple as sharing information that could help another person.

So if you’re someone who believes we can help each other make the world a little better, join me.

Share the messages you believe matter.

Share information that protects people.

Share encouragement when someone needs it.

And when you find something that could genuinely help another person, help that message find them.
